I called the Christian Mingle Contact number 1-866-660-7924 number two days ago and asked to speak to a supervisor. None was available, but I was assured that I would receive a call back within 24 hours. Obviously that didn't happen so I must start over. In a nutshell, I want my initial $33.00 refunded and here's why:

Millions of consumers are being deprived of their rights every day based upon legal disclosures concerning the continued charge to their credit cards that simply CANNOT BE READ. The consumers join because they are lured in large print by corporate behemoths who know exactly what buttons to push and weaknesses to exploit. "Find true love....Find God's Match for You...." People join because they are tricked into trusting the people who tell them to join and they will find happiness.. Ironically the boxes from which to choose your preferences appear after you have decided to "upgrade your "visitor" status. Most of these fine print terms lead consumers to declare that they have “read and understood” terms that they have neither read nor understood. Those who check the characteristic boxes do so because they are enthusiastically told to sign up, only to eventually find unauthorized amounts being deducted from their accounts once the agreed upon time has expired and they make the mistake of trusting a business - A CHRISTIAN business at that, which is unconscionably unscrupulous.
This is the oldest trick in the book. Carnivals used to write on the back of their tickets that they were not responsible for injuries sustained on their rides....the Court shut that down. The pharmaceutical companies were similarly forced to issue black box warning of the hazardous side effects of their FDA approved meds and now Christian Mingle MUST be held responsible for the economic disclosures even the six million dollar bionic man could not see.

Like I said, I initially "joined" because my trusting Christian friend Bridget told me she only paid $10 for the privilege. After being in the consumer law field for over 20 years, I was obviously skeptical. At no time did I introduce myself to a man; want to meet a man or any such thing. I was a "paying customer" for all of 45 minutes to see how your site worked. If you do not refund my money, make sure you KNOW I want no more charges applied to my credit card, and I can assure you that you will spend much more than $33.00 defending the litigation that will ensue. Please contact me within 10 days of the date of this missive at [redacted personal info]or I will assume you wish to litigate the matter.
