Our cell phones where shut off without any warning. when called to ask why, we were told I had used texting more than our plan allowed. We have been loyal cutomers of alltel since the 80's. We live in Florida over the winter months, my husband was called home for his brother who has CHF and was very ill. His flight to return was for 2/10. Starting at 3:30 am I was unable to contact him on his cell to make sure he would make his 6am flight. After a long day with no phone contact, we did meet at the airport. When we contacted alltel they wanted us to take out a new plan. Needing phones now we were forced to go to verizon and purchase all new phones and contracts. Now alltel wants us to pay for ending the contact. We feel they quit us, we did not quit them. They are threatening out credit rating now.
