ATG Reha

The drivers picked up my power chair while I was in Rehab. at Stonebridge rehab center. I told them what needed to be done. I specifically told them to fix and/or replace arm rests since they would not stay at the proper height, also to secure head rest, and it was pulling to the one side and I could not control it. Also told them it would turn itself off and on at any time. I had gotten pinned between the chair and toilet which causes abrasions on my leg, also it turned itself one once when my PT had turned it off. I also asked to have a piece on the back replaced that got knocked off. In March they brought it back. They told me it was fixed. When I did a good check I saw only thing that was fixed was it no longer pulled to the side and it no longer turned off and on by itself. I called them with in 1 week and they came back and picked up the chair at my place of residence. I have called every two weeks to see how the repair work is coming along. At the end of March I found out I needed approvale from the insurance company. My Dr. and myself filled out and sing the forms. Now it is 4/30/13 and they are telling me that they have not heard from the insurance company as yet. I depend on this chair since I am paralyzed from the waist down. I got the chair in 2011 but it has been in the shop more then I have been able to use it. Several times for the same problems. I feel the chair has been a lemon since I received it.
