Lazy-Boy Furniture Store

I purchased a painting at Lazy-Boy along with various other furniture items. The painting was delivered by Lazy-Boy(LB) trucking without a protective box. It was noted that the picture was riddled with deep scratches and a request was made to have the damaged painting returned.It was suggested by the delivery team to hold the painting until the replacement was redelivered. The replacent picture arrived last week in the proper packaging,however,it was noted that the replacement was also unacceptable because the painting had excessive paint globs and the overall appearence was sloppy. The trucker made notes and left a fabric cushion cover that needed replacement. He asked us to follow up with the store. The original painting still remains in my posession.

Several calls were made to the Ocoee store to request a refund and we were originally told by a sales associate that they would comply if we returned the painting. A follow up call was not returned by Lazy-Boy, so we contacted the store and I was referred to Andrea to settle the outstanding complaint. I was told they would only issue a store credit. I insisted on a refund since the damage was reported on the first delivery with no fault of ours. Since Lazy-Boy has not made good for the painting,we want the painting picked up and issued a full refund, not a credit!

On March 18,2013, I escalated a call to Renee Ramirez,General Manager at Lazy-boy and awaiting a resolution for my refund requested.
