I recently bought a set of aftermarket wheels from Carid (website retailer) and before shipment, I cancled the order. Place date 8-30, cancel date 9-3, before the stated ship date of 9-7 and this company refused to accept my request to cancel my order. They informed me that an order placed, was not able to be canceled after being placed if they had placed the order with the supplier. I have always bought online with the belief and expection, that a order could be canceled if I at most had to pay return shipping, this company simply told me "that an order was an order" and that I was now the owner of the product and my credit card would be charged despite my canceling the order before shipment was even started. I ask to speak to a manager to discuss further my problem and was told by the "order clerk" that no one was available and "he was the highest authority in the company I could speak to". DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARID. A rule I intend to follow from now on.
