On 18 July 2012 I clicked on a link in an email and entered the website. I was enticed in and started bidding on cheap stuff just to see if I could possibly win - to my amazement I did win a cheap phone very quickly. To buy it I had to enter my email and check the box for t&C's. I did this without much thought and soon found out that I was now into it for the price of $96.23USD per month for minimum of 3 months! I quickly chatted to a customer service rep online and he told me I COULD quit the site, but only if I paid a 'cancellation' fee of $54.54USD within 7 days... I was gutted by this and shocked I could get involved and find it so hard to get out unscathed! My total damages, should I have to pay the cancellation fee [at minimum], is $10.68USD for the phone, adding to a total of $67USD. I hope to not pay that cancellation fee by cancelling my credit card - the bank tells me this MAY work so fingers and toes are crossed. I have emailed Ziinga to tell them of my disgust at their sneaky ways, and have emailed two consumer watchdog tv shows here in New Zealand to hopefully get the word out there about these B*@#@*#!*!! Anna
