check in problems and this happened on May 11, 2013

This is a Complaint / Review about Comfort Inn.

I had reserved 3 rooms a month ago to visit my grandma with my fiance 2 boys my mom and dad and brother and sister in law and used my debit card to hold them. I told the lady that 3 different family would be coming in and that they would pay for there room but it's under my name. On sat. May 11th 2013 my brother had gone into the comfort inn just to make sure the rooms were still held the lady at the desk swiped his debit card and told him they are still reserved. I proceeded in about an hour later to go and check into my room I gave the lady my credit card she swiped and said that it was declined which was funny cause i had checked that card before leaving and there was $150.00 on the card i did't want to use my debit card since i wanted to do a little shopping plus go out to eat plus the gas money to get back home. So i just gave her my debit card and she charged my debit card. We left and went to my grandmothers which was the reason for our staying in Jamestown was to visit with my grandma when we got to her apartment my brother mentioned to me that he checked his checking account and realized the lady had charged him 3 times for the room i then went onto my credit card and was charged for a room and then i checked my debit card and she also charged my debit card so she charged me twice. My brother and i proceeded to go back to the motel and let them know what she did the lady that checked us in was no longer worker so we were dealing with someone else the lady told us she couldnt fix it and would have to wait for a supervisor which we had to wait for another hour. when she came to fix it she said that she would wipe everything out and restart everything which again we had to charge my debit card twice now. I have now been charged 3 times for one room. She did not try too acomodate us for anything which i also needed a rollaway and they charged me for that. When we checked out the next day the lady that made the mistake made the comment that it wasnt her fault it was ours. Im feeling that in some way with our happy trip to see our grandma we should at least get some money back or something instead of spending time with her we were at the hotel trying to fix something that was not our fault. Besides all of this since our debit card has a max limit on it my brothers and my card were froze for the day and we could not use it at all. please help me in this very frusterating matte
