Cannot redeem J&M gift cards online in Canada

This is a Complaint / Review about Johnson & Murphy.


I received a gift card at Christmas for Johnson & Murphy. The card was purchased in Canada. Since I do not live near a city, I read the disclaimer on the back of the card and noted that the card can be used at JohnsonandMurphy.com online store. After attempting to do so with no luck, I called the help line and after 30 minutes during which the call was escalated i was informed that international customers cannot redeem gift cards online. This is despite the fact that the card is purchased in Canada with a disclaimer indicating the contrary.
