College Book Renter - Complaints / Reviews / Scam Reports
VERY DISHONEST COMPANY! STAY FAR WAY!

This is a Complaint / Review about College Book Renter.

College Book Renter is a company that basically gains profit from poor college students when they have the opportunity to. I say this because I received a book from a 3rd party, and I received it in a bad condition to begin with, and because I didn''t notify them, I WAS CHARGED $127.81. That is totally not fair. Why would they even send out a book to someone if it was already partially damaged to begin with? I don't think they even have on file what condition the books are in before they send them out!!! I bet not, because that''s just a loophole to gain profit off of poor college students. I am NOT pleased with the way that this company decided to handle this matter, nor am I pleased with Amanda the representative from the damaged dept. She was not sympathetic to my issue, and she was very rude. I will no longer conduct business with them because I truly feel that they are out to take money from students who already have a hard time in college. I am very frustrated that I was held accountable.
