College Book Renter - Complaints / Reviews / Scam Reports
Don't Notify You of Due Date

This is a Complaint / Review about College Book Renter.

I am very disappointed with this rental site. I never recieved any kind of reminder when my book was due. I rent often from many other sites and no site has ever failed to contact me to let me know the due date was coming up. Also, I was never contacted about the book being late until three months after the due date. When I called collections the lady was extremely rude when I started asking her questions about why I wasn't contacted. Instead of referring me to someone who could better assist me she ignored me and rushed me off the phone. I reassured her that I was planning on paying the late fee and returning the book but that I wanted to understand why I wasn't notified. She kept suggesting that it was because my email was wrong or it went to my spam folder. She refused to put any blame on the company. She also told me that this was time for me to grow up and take responsibility. I asked her if there was someone or somewhere I could make complaints and suggestions to and she said no.
