Permanent Deferment

This is a Complaint / Review about CSL Plasma.


Today at 5:54 p.m., I contacted CSL Plasma at Southfield. Saturday, 10/12/13 I gave my medical referral to Marshella, a MSA. She told me to contact the receptionist today. I complained that the blood pressure intakes were often incorrect and were too high. The chairs are pretty high and it is difficult to place your feet onto the floor. I even told the MSA that I wish to go to another location. My blood pressure is indicated overly high, as stated by my physician. This was my 3rd or 4th medical referral. Every time I go to receive my referrals, I'm always approved by my physician who is often bewildered as to why my blood pressure is indicated by CSL Plasma. My blood pressure is controlled with medication.
As directed, I contacted the office and was informed that I would be permanently deferred. I believe this was in retaliation for complaining about the intake practices of the Southfield office, and that I wished to transfer to another location, preferably the Oak Park location. I will be complaining to the appropriate state agency about the Southfield office. Please advise at your earliest convenience.
