This is a Complaint / Review about groupon.
I purchased a tablet through groupon . I tracked my good and noticed that the company I purchsed it from was taking there sweet time for each step in the shipment process. I waited the full 12 business days before I called groupon to cancel the shipment because I no longer needed or desired the product. I was irritated that the business stated the product was shipped out the 22 of November. In fact the label was not created untill the 23 and was never taken to a shipping facility. When I called geoupon Daniel me I would have to wait untill after the holiday weekend to initiate the refund process. This caught me as a surprise as I had spoken to India two days prior and was informed that on weds the 27 I could get a refund for my undelivered good. It took several calls before groupon agreed to refund my money. Groupon offered to refund my money in groupon bucks which I have no use for because I will never use there services again. I confirmed the account where the money should be credited to my bank. The woman repeated the account back to me. An hour later I received an email stating it was being credited to my groupon account in groupon bucks. Fortunately I check my emails frequently and had a chance to call again for the fifth time and have groupon reverse and correct their stupidity. Had I not noticed it may have taken a month or longer to receive my refund. Supposedly they will refund my account within 10 days but I have yet to get a confirmation email. I disputed the charges with my bank because I have 0 trust or confidence in groupon. If you are smart use eBay or Amazon. Do not make good purchases through groupon. Smh
