Trail Blazers, Terrible customer service. Doesn't follow through with promises, long hold times, hands up on customers.

This is a Complaint / Review about Trail Blazers.

Never buy from this company! I ordered a soft top for my jeep from their website at or and had nothing but a bad experience. I called in and spoke to Britt on Saturday June 23rd to place my order and explained to him that I needed this top for a trip I was taking on July 12th. He assured me that that would not be a problem, and that I should receive my product by Friday the 29th. It wasn't till Tuesday the 26th that I received a call from Britt explaining that he could not get my credit card to go through. I reread the numbers etc. and asked him to run it again and Britt said it declined again (I don't think he really ran it through again, but I gave hime the benefit of the doubt). So, I hung up with Britt and called my bank. My bank explained to me that no transactions had even been attempted and whatever charge I was making would clear. At this point I called Britt back and left him a voice mail asking him to please run the transaction through again, and left my CC info AGAIN. After about 2 hours I had still heard nothing from Britt so I called back and after being placed on hold for 15 min. (this happens every time you call BTW) I was finally connected to Britt, however the second I said "Hi Britt this is Josh Z." he immediately hung up on me. So, I called back again (waited 15 min.) and explained the situation to the gal that typically answers the phones. She acted like this was no big deal and seemed rather unconcerned that her co-worker would do such a thing. I asked her to run my CC while I was on the phone with her (I know... I should have realized what I was dealing with at this point and said forget it, but I thought the price was too good to pass up.) and surprise surprise It went through. Finally I had somebody slightly competent on the phone (so I thought).

Now here we are on Tuesday July 3rd and I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation email. Out of concern since the date of the trip is getting near I call again (yep! another 15 min hold time) and speak with the same gal the answered the phone before asking why I haven't received a confirmation yet. She explains that my item will not be shipped till the 18th, and will have to be shipped from CO (where I'm at) to KY and back to CO. I explained to her what Britt had promised me, and also how he said the shipping would be quick because the top is right here in CO already. She had no concern what so ever. No apology, or conciliation at all. I told her I would have to cancel my order to which her response was "thats fine you can do that." So thats what I did. Now here I am waiting on my refund and a sworn oath to keep others from having to deal with this company.

Today I reordered the top from Matthew at, and even at such short notice they will get the top to me by Monday July 9th. (Its being shipped to me form KY BTW, and no there is no affiliation between companies) At this point I have nothing but praise for this company and it was a true pleasure dealing with Matthew after having to deal with the people over at, but that is for a future review upon receiving the product, but so far so good!
